What Would You Do?: A transgender woman is insulted by a man at a diner. This is a really great segment they did where a trans woman, played by a real trans woman, is insulted and ridiculed by a man (played by an actor, of course) while she serves him at a diner. You’d be surprised at how many people butted in to defend her.
The Definition of Marriage Amendment Bill has passed into New Zealand law, 77-44, making same sex marriage and joint adoption by married same sex couples legal. After the bill was announced, the entire hall of parliament burst into song together, singing Pokarekare Ana, a maori love song about a couple separated by distance and culture. It was one of the most moving things I have ever experienced, and I am very proud to be a New Zealander tonight.
That house across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church continues to be awesome.
”Now on a personal level, I was so proud of this because, and I didn’t know this. The gentleman who played the other Captain Jack actually said to me afterwards, he said ”you know”, because he was in tears he was crying, and I said are you okay? Have i done something? Did I do a James Marsters? Did I slip you a little tongue? And he went ‘no no’ and he started laughing, and he said ”im actually, im overwhelmed because, i want you to know, what you’re doing as a show, as a character is absolutely wonderful for all of us out here you know watching you, because my brother committed suicide a few years back, because he couldn’t deal with it, and society wouldn’t allow who he was, and he took his own life, and for me to stand here and play a character that represents who my brother was, is an honor for me, but also it means my brothers life wasn’t lived in any sort of vain, or his death wasn’t anything meaningless” and I had no clue, so for me as the actor for that episode, that was one of the most touching moments, but also it made me realize that in every episode from now on, that we’re not only telling stories we’re actually impacting peoples lives with the messages that we can put across. As we do, were making a difference. And that is why the episode ‘Captain Jack Harkness’, is probably one of the most important episodes to me.” - John Barrowman
What if all the Disney princes and princesses were gay? And then, what if they all sang mash-ups of Disney songs and pop-hits, and did choreographed dancing to those mash-ups? Would you like to see that?
Well, your wish has been granted.
And, +10 points to the creators for including a Mean Girls reference.
CollegeHumor supports gay marriage. Here’s why you should too.
oh. my. god. yes.
Funny because it’s true.
FUCKING FANTASTIC. CH stuff has been kind of downhill lately but this is perfect.

“It doesn’t get better.”
Now, for all of you who are part of the “It Gets Better” project, this video doesn’t rip on it. It adds to it.

I wasn’t going to watch this but then I did and you should really, really actually watch this. No matter what you are or what you do or how you feel about literally anything, watch it, because it’s gonna make you happy and happy is a good thing.
Now this. This genius. This I stand behind. This is real, and not these little close-minded hug-it-out groups here on Tumblr. Bless this man and his vision.
